Nodaleto tells the story of an hymn of freedom, a dream embodied by the homage of a creator to her familial patrimony. The joy of living, the sun and feet who dance to the beat of a different drum.
Boots made for living and laughter, both fatal and mischievous. Nodaleto (Julia Toledano’s design and Olivier Leone’s identity) presents its first collection inspired by the American iconography of the 70s, from William Eggleston to Panton, highlighting the French sex appeal, as a tribute to Guy Bourdin. An immense splash of Tangerine tango, which is the emblematic colour of the brand. Julia Toledano (A.K.A. «Nodaleto»), a long-time spectator of couture and fashion, dedicates her designs to the «Nodaleto-Girls», dazzling and fluorescent, for whom a pair of shoes can add luminosity to a day.
Olivier Leone perfectly matches Julia’s universe, reflecting on and shaping the identity of Nodaleto, conceived as a patchwork of influences sometimes antithetical, just like the generation 90. Together they invent a «Mediterranean-American minimalism», unique in its kind
